With more than 23,000 specialists and a presence in over 130 countries, Sandoz is close to patients, doctors and business partners everywhere. Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, North and South America - over the past few decades we have made the whole world our home.
Sandoz develops and produces medicines on a global basis to provide patients worldwide with high quality generics. However, we recognize that while our industry is global, our customers are still very much local. Because generic pharmaceutical markets worldwide are so diverse, our national group companies have considerable entrepreneurial freedom. This principle pays dividends: Sandoz has a strong presence on all continents and is represented in all key generic pharmaceutical markets. In many key markets, e.g. the US and Germany, we are the market leader.
